Some Satanists regard Satan/Lucifer as more of a symbolic representation of our inner-potential others regard Satan/Lucifer as a spiritual guide or even a God that allows the finding of our inner potential. Regardless of these differences Satan/Lucifer is regarded as a Force of Nature a symbol of evolution, revolution, freedom and wisdom...All of the philosophies are aimed at enabling practitioners to break free of the moral dogmas that have been integrated into the very moral fabric of our existence.
The time of God has finally come to an end
The Satanic age is upon us the future is now being written
People will often ask “why are you a Satanist?” That question in itself, is reason enough why.
Life is something that cannot be dissected in terms of what is right and wrong; it is an entity that needs complete understanding of all its forms to be understood, you cannot understand something if half of it is missing because someone believes it is better that way.
No matter how many new laws, rules and regulations are introduced by the governments the responsibility in the end of the day falls on the individual. For too long now we have accepted what we are told without question just to keep the peace, lies derived from ignorance and fear have become accepted as the absolute truth. For too long now we have been manipulated through the use of propaganda and distorted perceptions of reality. Personal responsibility, accountability and common sense are in danger of becoming obsolete in this day and age.
It would be overzealous to suggest that Satanists should all be aiming to hold positions of power in governments especially with the fact that such positions are usually reserved for the current elite and are influenced by organisations beyond the reach of societies more less privileged individuals. However it is possible for Satanists to achieve positions within society that influence political decisions, such as academic research and the media.
Everybody is an individual it’s just that we tend to shape our moral views in order to benefit ourselves within social environments. Self preservation is something that a Satanist holds to be the highest priority. Taking an active role within society is part of self preservation, it is important to find your own sense of self Satanist or not. The human race makes advances by being able to work alongside others to achieve specific goals and objectives. Self preservation and the survival of the satanic movement rely on individuals being able to think for themselves and to be able to tell the difference between individuality and group identity.
Anyone who makes the claim that they are talking as a representative of anyone but themselves should be not taken seriously. All Satanists are responsible for their own words and actions so if someone makes an outrageous claim using stereotypes and outrageous statements about other people, do not get drawn into it. They are revealing their own level of ignorance and stupidity to the world.
Everybody looks at the laws of man and god and then finds ways of making them work for themselves; it’s in our nature to do so. Satanism has now established itself as being here and having a voice. So now it is time to evolve to the next level and to not fall into the same traps as others. Knowledge comes in many forms but only those truly worthy of wielding it will ever manage to get anything done.
Psychology is advancing the understanding of how the brain influences our behaviour. There have also been some major scientific advances that also need to be addressed and incorporated into the satanic structure of beliefs. Behaviourism has been replaced by cognitive psychology; the survival of the gene has been incorporated into Darwin’s perspective of evolution.
Evolution is now excepted as being more than just a hypothesis it is now an established scientific fact. Why should religion be any different from anything else, we have already seen over the course of history the rise and fall of empires, nations and religions. Scientific contributions have shaken the foundations of human thought many times over and they continue to do so today.
The fact that Satanism is attributed with such negative stereotypes deters many from ever even contemplating having anything to do with it. But of course there are always those that find such things to be alluring, Satanism incorporates everything it is not restricted in any way shape or form and to some it will always have the attraction that it in some way justifies their deviant beliefs and behaviours.
Fundamentalism is a plague that threatens any belief system including Satanism; unfortunately many Satanists are currently mistaking their individual practices as being actual definitions of Satanism itself. A True Satanist (if any such term actually does exist) would be well versed in all of these different paths and is able to use whichever is needed depending on the task and results that are sought after.
Traditional Satanism is present within modern Satanism because if it wasn’t then modern Satanism wouldn’t be Satanism it would be something else. Any Satanist that follows a modern path of Satanism but decides that Magick and rituals are not necessary is really only following certain philosophies or beliefs (i.e. objectivism, atheism or even some other kind of combination or variation).
The actual differences between the various satanic organisations are actually more in line with political preferences rather than actual perspectives of belief. All Satanists actually believe in the same thing, which is themselves. All Satanists develop that primeval, theistic, spiritual aspect of themselves.
To represent both the Individuality and also the diversity found within Satanism Ignite the Black Flame aims to create an environment that allows Satanists to build upon their own individual ideas and projects. Also to enable advice and suggestions for research and to allow access to information on the various different paths, philosophies and the various different groups and sources of information that exists.
So whether you are a seasoned veteran or someone new to the entire concept you should find something here for you. I cannot give you all the answers I wouldn’t even be that bold to even try to, but hopefully this group will give you a little understanding, provide you with some ideas and points of contact for furthering your understanding of Satanism, in time allowing you to construct your own individual path and destiny.
Satanism is a movement, an intellectual revolution, the beginning of an historical aeon; all of the satanic paths contribute to this in one way or another, whether you agree with each path or not doesn’t really matter, maybe you should try your local church if it bothers you that much, because if you think that way then you are part of the problem.
