Black Magic
Magic is important as it defines many of aspects in regards to why a Satanist is actually called a Satanist, perhaps the best way to understand what magic and rituals are about is to look at Pagan, Egyptian and other literature from some of the older cultures and ways of life. Attempting to understand what magic is from modern day sources such as religions or new age adaptations of magical and mystical practices are perhaps not the best way in which to go about things. This is because they have been either manipulated by individuals to suit their own personal beliefs or have been adapted in some way to accommodate the cultural social norms at the time they were written, over time lies, fears and ignorance have gained the status of modern day truths. There are a lot of myths and legends surrounding Black Magic and satanic rituals in general, it is worth noting however that many of these come from propaganda started by various religious and political groups in order to discredit others and either maintain or gain power.
Magic is a form of knowledge and is often referred to as either being hidden or forbidden in nature. It takes time to understand and requires some serious time and effort before any beneficial results can really be achieved so I’m afraid that some research, reading and experimentation is required, the Mendes library on the “Goat of Mendes” link is perhaps the best place to start.
Magic is theoretically many different things combined together; it could be considered as a form of consciousness that incorporates aspects of psychology, philosophy, spirituality and religion. Although parts of it can be described by science there are still elements of it that cannot be accounted for. While the rituals generally follow the same procedure some of the theoretical descriptions of how it works do differ slightly. For magic to work it requires a certain amount of ‘faith’ but at the same time you have to also have to keep yourself grounded as well. So it’s not really about what you believe it is more about the context in which you are able to see things.
It is man who created God and shaped how we view the world today, and what was made by man can be unmade as well. Black Magic can be seen as a process that allows us to be able to break both psychological and emotional boundaries that have developed through the intervention of the “divine path of the light” over centuries of “Human Evolution”
I think of magic in the sense of it being a form of “Spiritual evolution” and a form consciousness free from the moral dogmas we are conditioned to believe. It can help you see the world from different perspectives and truly does allow you to take control of your own destiny.
